Books of My Life (booksofmylife.com) is the U.S. maker of Cortie, an AI biographer that writes parents' and grandparents' stories into a private online memoir. It is not affiliated with the UK memoir ghostwriting service "Book of My Life".
What we do
Books of My Life makes Cortie, a gentle AI biographer for families. Cortie texts your parent or grandparent one thoughtful question a day in iMessage. They reply by voice, text or photo. Their answers become a private online memoir, with chapters, photos and voice recordings. You can turn it into a printed hardcover book when you are ready.
Cortie always says it is an AI. A real person on our team reviews every book before it prints. There is nothing to download: storytelling happens in Messages on iPhone, like texting a friend.
Privacy and your stories
Your family owns the stories. You can download every story, photo and recording, or delete it all, at any time. Their memoir is read online and shared only with the family you invite. Anything your loved one asks Cortie to leave out stays out, and they can stop at any time by replying STOP.
